Requirements
- Demonstrated experience independently building and operating autonomous AI agents in production.
- Proven experience designing and owning evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Solid backend engineering foundation.
- Understanding of how AI and language models behave beyond third-party API integration.
- Comfortable working from ambiguous problem statements.
- Regular user of AI development tools for coding and research.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI initiatives end-to-end from initial research and experimentation through production deployment.
- Design and ship autonomous AI agent capabilities for incident triage and automated monitoring.
- Create and maintain evaluation infrastructure including golden datasets and regression suites.
- Build retrieval and context pipelines leveraging customer metadata and query history.
- Monitor agent performance by establishing failure taxonomies, tracing, and latency budgets.
- Partner with data science and product teams to align AI development with business needs.
- Define engineering patterns, guardrails, and internal tooling for safe AI development.
