Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in Quality Engineering teams within modern SaaS or platform organizations.
- Experience with cloud-native environments, specifically AWS.
- Expertise in scaling automated testing infrastructure and GitHub Workflows.
- Knowledge of testing strategies from unit to E2E, including API contract and integration testing (Cypress, Pact, K6).
- Front-end knowledge and testing fluency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices for pipeline feedback loops.
- Strong communication and coaching skills to influence stakeholders.
- Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams.
- Knowledge of QA tools like Zephyr Scale.
- Desire to mentor others with a pragmatic, systems-thinking approach.
Responsibilities
- Represent the team of SDETs to embed quality into every phase of development through tooling, automation, and best practices.
- Contribute to a modern quality strategy, improving test pyramid coverage and shifting away from sole UI-based validation.
- Enhance CI/CD and developer workflows by improving test data setup, isolation, and execution reliability.
- Ensure functional testing completion and leverage AI test harnesses to impact lead time to value.
- Drive quality KPIs such as test coverage, defect trends, and regression rates to guide infrastructure investments.
- Engage cross-functionally to influence design, planning, and deployment with a quality-first mindset.
