Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of demonstrated functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in the data center industry with strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Commissioning.
- 3+ years of experience with Hyperscale (>30MW) Data Centers.
- Experience leading large markets or business sectors.
- Experience leading and developing teams and senior leaders.
- Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 to 5 year time span.
- Proven ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding contract documents, plans, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual budgets and strategic objectives for the business unit.
- Lead business development teams and collaborate with leaders across functions to pursue new opportunities.
- Monitor client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat or new work.
- Evaluate contracts and project backlogs for risk, developing and executing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee all aspects of capital projects from concept and initiation through handover, including post-handover upgrades.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure construction activities align with client goals and timelines.
- Provide thought leadership both internally and in public-facing events.
