Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 10+ years professional experience progressing in quantity surveying or cost management.
- 5+ years experience in the data center industry.
- 3+ years experience with Hyperscale (>30MW) Data Centers.
- 8+ years of demonstrated functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding contract documents, plans, and specifications.
- Experience leading and developing teams and large business sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 to 5 year time span.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and/or Primavera.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing annual budgets and strategic objectives.
- Lead business development teams and collaborate with internal leaders to pursue new opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with large clients and conduct regular outreach to ensure service delivery and repeat business.
- Select and develop senior leaders, set objectives, and manage incentive compensation.
- Oversee capital projects from initiation through project completion, handover, and post-handover upgrades.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure construction activities align with project goals.
- Identify risks in the construction/commissioning process and develop mitigation plans.
