Requirements
- Solid SQL skills for investigating complex datasets.
- Experience using modern analytics stacks such as dbt or Omni.
- Strong commercial understanding with ability to connect analysis to revenue and margin outcomes.
- Experience developing forecasts or scenario models.
- Proven ability to build trusted metrics from messy or inconsistent source data like CRM or transactional systems.
- Ability to turn ambiguous questions into well-defined analytical problems.
- Ability to present recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in energy, fintech, or data-heavy sectors (preferred).
- Proficiency in Python for statistical or data-quality work (preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM account hierarchy structures (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Monitor the sales pipeline to resolve overlaps and double-counted revenue.
- Define and report on forecast accuracy against annual targets.
- Diagnose and fix CRM data quality issues affecting pipeline reliability.
- Perform commercial opportunity sizing and partner performance analysis.
- Identify trends and risks in the pipeline before they impact headline figures.
- Translate complex commercial data into clear, compelling stories for stakeholders.
- Drive data adoption and self-service capabilities for the commercial team.
