Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience shipping web and mobile apps using declarative UI frameworks such as React, React Native, or Vue.
- Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components.
- Ability to design elegant, simple, and extensible solutions.
- Experience writing high-quality code that is easily understood by others.
- Proficiency in making significant changes in a large codebase safely.
- Ability to proactively seek feedback from team members, managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global engineering team environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team.
- Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on the development lifecycle.
- Articulate technical constraints and partner on risk/trade-off decisions.
- Proactively identify and lead the resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Support the operations and availability of team artifacts through monitoring and on-call efforts.
- Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting standards for code reviews and design.
- Develop talent on the team through feedback, guidance, and mentorship.
