Requirements
- Strong experience with React / modern JavaScript frontend development.
- Next.js experience preferred.
- Solid backend development skills with deep proficiency in a server-side framework.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails preferred, or Django, Laravel, Express, etc.
- Experience collaborating with backend/service teams and integrating with existing APIs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to complete a coding exercise using React and Flask in a final panel interview.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of customer-facing, SEO-optimized, high-performance pages, setting technical direction and standards for the team.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Support desktop and mobile experiences using responsive design.
- Architect, implement, and continuously improve backend services and APIs powering critical product features, proactively addressing scalability and reliability concerns.
- Integrate frontend components with backend systems and third-party APIs.
- Provide infrastructure and APIs to support AI/ML features and enable teams building artificial intelligence capabilities.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and contribute to data modeling and database performance tuning.
- Proactively identify and resolve critical technical issues, contribute to architectural discussions, and provide mentorship to team members, raising the technical bar for the group.
