Requirements
- 7+ years in product management or digital product development.
- Strong focus on launching B2B platforms, developer APIs, or payments infrastructure.
- Ability to read network specifications and debate trade-offs with engineers.
- Experience designing APIs and webhooks that scale.
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries to pull usage metrics and track adoption.
- Detail-oriented problem solving in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with authentication services, EMV, or 3DS specifications (Nice to have).
- Background building cloud-native applications or high-throughput global platforms (Nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap for network integrations, partnering directly with major card networks and payment gateways to scope upcoming capabilities.
- Abstract network-specific quirks into a unified, predictable API experience for VGS customers.
- Define API interfaces, functional requirements, and webhook event models built for long-term durability.
- Partner directly with Engineering, Security, UX, and Legal to validate designs and guide features from partner discussions through beta to general availability.
- Own customer onboarding, integration support, and implementation guides, partnering with engineering to deliver clear API documentation and developer tools.
- Define and track platform KPIs including network integration cycle time, feature adoption, API/webhook reliability, and SLA compliance, using SQL queries to analyze usage patterns.
