Comfort with public health domain, specifically case surveillance and investigation systems.
Proven experience managing and delivering services or products within the public health domain.
Demonstrated experience in people management, mentorship, coaching, and career development support.
Experience leading legacy modernization or system migration, including change management strategies.
Understanding of human-centered design principles and their application in product direction.
Familiarity and comfort working with DevSecOps engineers to support infrastructure and cloud deployments.
Strong ability to manage stakeholders and clients to build trust and healthy environments.
Understanding of software development methodologies such as agile and lean.
Experience working on cross-functional teams including product, design, engineering, and operations.
Successful completion of a company background check.
Potential requirement to obtain a public trust or security clearance.

Own the integrated service and product roadmap for migrating at least three STLTs per year onto the modernized platform.
Lead multiple project teams across devops, content design, and full-stack engineering.
Partner with CDC stakeholders to keep migration priorities, timelines, and expectations aligned.
Facilitate team ceremonies and stakeholder syncs to adjust project plans based on data and feedback.
Set the direction for the team's work and align teams around project success metrics.
Coach team members through the ambiguity and complexity inherent in government work.
