Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of software development experience in a professional environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and web services.
- Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Experience using Git-based source control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
- Support enhancements and sustainment for applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, and Oracle.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP-based services and integrations.
- Develop and maintain modern backend services utilizing Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and application deployments.
