- 10+ years of experience developing and managing web-based software applications.
- Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS).
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing software engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative and feasible technology-driven solutions.
- Experience scaling solutions from prototype to sustainable infrastructure.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (lean-startup, design-thinking).
- Experience architecting software spanning multiple components, including data pipelines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience working with higher education data, including student information or degree audit systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage a growing team of engineers, including goal setting, reviews, mentorship, and recruitment.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams of designers, researchers, and product managers.
- Direct the design and development of the Transfer Explorer platform, including scalable data processing pipelines.
- Own relationships with technical vendors and integration partners such as DXtera.
- Participate in leadership teams to conduct business planning, roadmapping, and grant management.
