Requirements
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within payments, banking or FinTech.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian payments ecosystem and infrastructure, ideally including experience with Interac e-Transfer or other Canadian payment rails.
- Experience translating complex business, product or payment scheme requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud technologies and modern system architectures.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.
- Good understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience supporting products from requirements through to delivery.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience using data to support decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Manager to support the end-to-end build and delivery of Form3’s Canadian RTR payment gateway.
- Understand and analyse payment scheme, product and business requirements, translating these into clear and actionable requirements.
- Create high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria and functional and non-functional specifications.
- Analyse the impact of product changes and enhancements and clearly document requirements to support delivery.
- Use data and analysis to provide insights and support informed product decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Engineering and the wider business throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Build deep knowledge of the Canadian payments ecosystem, becoming a trusted source of payments expertise for colleagues and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of key Business Analyst activities and deliverables, helping the team move from requirements through to successful product delivery.
