Requirements

  • 5-10+ years experience and proven track record in an individual contributor sales role.
  • Demonstrated success selling to B2B/B2C customers.
  • Experience working with general contractors, architects, or trade professionals.
  • Background in in-home or consumer product sales with complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Must be located in the Los Angeles area.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations (50% of the week).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
  • Vehicle and valid driver’s license required for local travel.
  • Reliable internet access at home.
  • Strong territory management, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own an individual sales quota.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of potential customers, from prospecting to installation.
  • Conduct in-person site visits and sales consultations with potential customers.
  • Generate prospective customer designs, proposals, and contracts.
  • Educate customers on defensible space and wildfire defense systems.
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Installation Teams to ensure successful project handoffs.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, fire departments, and insurance partners.
  • Track all sales and customer interactions through CRM tools.
