Requirements
- Proven experience as a product manager owning complex third-party integrations (API and file/EDI-based).
- Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code or prototypes.
- Provider-agnostic mindset, prioritizing the ingestion of diverse customer realities rather than forcing fixed partner sets.
- Strong technical fluency, capable of reading data-mapping specs and reasoning about reconciliation logic.
- Excellent async written communication skills to drive alignment without meetings.
- Ability to make strategic and tactical product decisions under real deadline pressure.
- Comfort designing systems thinking beyond UIs, including APIs and agent-facing tooling.
- Strong judgment in balancing strategy, prioritization, and technical integration scope.
Responsibilities
- Own the Benefits infrastructure strategy, focusing on near-term integration delivery and long-term unification of benefits tooling.
- Drive the roadmap for connectivity to carriers, third-party administrators, and client HR systems.
- Lead complex integration delivery, including migration of benefit costs onto unified systems and implementation of provider-agnostic cost ingestion.
- Ensure data integrity by managing incident escalation, root-cause analysis, and implementation of automated reconciliation tooling.
- Manage the full lifecycle of benefits partners, including sourcing, technical integration, performance monitoring, and commercial terms.
- Evangelize product strategy and process changes across Engineering, Payroll Operations, Finance, and Partnerships through async collaboration.
