Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in software quality assurance or a related technical field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance (prior approval preferred).
- Hands-on experience testing Java-based web applications, services, and APIs.
- Practical experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated tests using industry-standard tools.
- Experience building reusable test components, managing test data, and interpreting automated results.
- Experience testing applications deployed in AWS environments including databases and logs.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, API, and UAT.
- Proficiency in defect tracking, test management, and requirements traceability.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps concepts, and version control.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to isolate defects and communicate risks.
Responsibilities
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to identify test conditions and quality risks.
- Execute comprehensive manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and API scenarios.
- Develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts and components within CI/CD pipelines.
- Test web interfaces, databases, and integrations hosted in AWS environments.
- Identify, document, and track defects, participating in triage and fix verification.
- Analyze application and cloud logs to perform root-cause analysis and defect isolation.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevSecOps teams to support release validation.
- Maintain test data, requirements traceability, and documentation of release outcomes.
