Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or Golang.
- Previous experience as a technical reference or technical leader within an engineering squad.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and data modeling.
- Experience with modern infrastructure and cloud environments, particularly Kubernetes and AWS.
- Solid experience with monitoring/observability tools like Datadog or Grafana.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of automated testing, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Expertise in designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and Linux.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, LLM integrations, or AI frameworks.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve core product capabilities using Ruby on Rails or Go.
- Define and evolve the architecture of integration systems and technology stacks.
- Act as the primary technical reference and provide mentorship to engineering staff.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and observability.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
- Design and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Support production operations and critical incidents to improve system resilience.
- Develop AI-powered solutions and integrate AI models into product capabilities.
