Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or Go.
- Previous experience acting as a technical reference, Tech Lead, or equivalent engineering leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL, including efficient database modeling.
- Experience with modern infrastructure and cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes and AWS.
- Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Experience with messaging and background-processing technologies such as Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka.
- Proficiency in automated testing using RSpec or comparable frameworks, as well as strong knowledge of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
- Experience designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs, with solid knowledge of Git and Linux.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies, including LLM integrations, AI frameworks, or development of AI- and data-driven product capabilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining clear communication and effective collaboration in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the core product using Ruby on Rails or Go, delivering scalable features that create meaningful value for users.
- Maintain a strong hands-on contribution, writing high-quality, clean, maintainable code and applying sound engineering practices.
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including integrations with AI models and data-driven capabilities.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, technical standards, and engineering processes.
- Act as a technical reference and mentor for developers, supporting their growth and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Conduct technical discussions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between engineers and Engineering Managers to align technical direction and delivery.
- Promote automated testing, design patterns, observability, and scalable development practices.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities to support pragmatic, high-quality solutions.
