Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Coastal Science, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience working in environmental consulting and A/E/C with a focus on coastal restoration.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a technical expert on environmental and coastal restoration projects.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software.
- Ability to present technical findings clearly to legal, regulatory, and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority for coastal restoration projects, providing direction on design, planning, and execution.
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams to integrate coastal restoration expertise across environmental and engineering service lines.
- Review and approve technical deliverables including reports, plans, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and review expert reports, rebuttal documents, and technical memoranda for litigation and regulatory proceedings.
- Drive strategic business development, including leading large pursuits, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members.
- Participate in strategic hiring, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
