Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, including ownership of a function.
- Direct experience with value-based care mechanics, risk contracts, and shared savings.
- Experience making metric definitions consistent across multiple consumption surfaces.
- Experience building and maintaining executive and board-level reporting.
- Experience delivering payer partner reporting against contractual specifications.
- Track record of building a reporting function from scratch.
- Comfort operating without a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluency in claims and clinical data (eligibility, risk adjustment, utilization).
- Hands-on technical proficiency in SQL and modeling.
- Knowledge of AI tools as applied to analytics, particularly with claims data.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain metric definitions and quality standards across claims and operational data.
- Develop and manage a governed semantic layer for internal applications and executive reporting.
- Produce repeatable monthly and quarterly board reporting packages and performance dashboards.
- Monitor SLA and performance metrics for active payer agreements with early risk warnings.
- Build the clinical analytics surface, covering quality measures, cost, and risk stratification.
- Establish standards and documentation to enable finance, clinical, and operations teams to perform self-service analytics.
- Manage and differentiate between deterministic reporting for external stakeholders and exploratory internal analysis.
