Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology or a related field.
- Professional registration (e.g., P.E. or P.G.).
- At least 10 years of experience in energy infrastructure siting, permitting, and licensing.
- Experience managing permitting, planning, and compliance for linear energy infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in overall project delivery, including financial, risk, and contract management.
- Experience with FERC certification, NEPA, and permitting requirements in the Appalachian Basin.
- Significant experience with natural gas pipeline capital project development under FERC Section 7c.
- Knowledge of Federal permitting programs including Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and USACE 404 permitting.
- Familiarity with Section 7 and 10 consultations (USFWS/NMFS) and National Historic Preservation Act Section 106.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel overnight and perform field work as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development, project management and technical aspects for air quality projects including emissions quantification, carbon programs, and regulatory analysis.
- Maintain market visibility through regular client contact and presentations at industry events.
- Provide technical leadership for regulatory analyses related to the Clean Air Act and emerging GHG reporting programs.
- Consult on air permitting processes such as NSR, PSD, Title V, and GHG compliance.
- Manage projects and staff, providing technical oversight, risk management, and mentoring.
- Coordinate work closely with staff across North America and assist in recruiting and training.
- Drive vehicles to client or company sites for project requirements as needed.
