Requirements
- 5–10+ years of Management Liability experience as an underwriter, broker, producer, or combination.
- Deep expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and related executive risk coverages.
- Knowledge of carrier markets, coverage structures, policy language, and risk management strategies.
- Active Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance technology platforms.
- Ability to maintain a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of IOA’s Management Liability practice strategy.
- Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, and industry trends to identify optimal client solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on D&O, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom coverages.
- Deliver coverage recommendations, including policy analysis, form comparison, and RFP support.
- Design and implement risk management strategies to enhance client outcomes.
- Partner with the Data team to develop benchmarking tools and quantitative analytics.
- Oversee content creation and educational resources for the practice.
- Collaborate with Producers to provide technical expertise for business development.
