Job Details

Experience as a P&L owner at a consumer lending company managing loss, yield, and portfolio economics.
Deep, hands-on credit underwriting experience with live ownership of underwriting decisions.
Proven track record of building unsecured personal or consumer loan credit models from end to end.
Experience managing and developing analysts to build high-output teams.
Strong AI aptitude with practical experience using AI tools in a credit or analytics workflow.
Deep fluency in credit risk concepts including underwriting policy, scoring, vintage analysis, and loss forecasting.
Expertise in consumer lending regulations such as TILA, FCRA, ECOA, and UDAAP.
Deep fluency with major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) and alternative data sources.
Background at an innovative, test-and-learn consumer lender such as Capital One, Affirm, or similar.
Strong ability to communicate complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders up to board level.

Serve as the GM for lending profitability, owning credit loss, yield, approval rates, and unit economics.
Design and optimize credit policy layers, knockout rules, and approval thresholds using champion/challenger analysis.
Lead collections strategy, including segmentation, treatment paths, and recovery optimization.
Responsibly expand the approvable population into near-prime and subprime segments using alternative data.
Own portfolio performance management including loss forecasting and early-warning indicators.
Partner with the SVP of Product to enhance lending applications and borrower-facing apps with a risk-aware lens.
Lead and mentor a high-performing credit risk team.
Identify and deploy AI-powered tools to improve credit modeling, collections, and analytics efficiency.
