Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM (or equivalent experience).
- Exceptional academic track record.
- Knowledge of networking architecture, design, and protocols.
- Understanding of Linux networking from kernel to user space.
- Fluency in C/C++.
- Proficiency in at least one of Rust, Python, or Golang.
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel globally twice a year for up to two weeks.
- Strong passion, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation.
Responsibilities
- Work with the most advanced operating systems and network application technologies.
- Participate upstream and deliver the Ubuntu SoNIC stack.
- Collaborate with public clouds and network silicon providers.
- Design and implement data center software-defined networking.
- Write high-quality, secure, and well-documented software.
- Debug issues and produce high-quality fixes.
- Collaborate proactively within a globally distributed organization.
- Contribute to technical documentation and lead internally on technical initiatives.
