Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, or Detection Engineering.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) for investigation and detection tuning.
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Entra ID, and AWS IAM.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and VPNs.
- Experience using AI-assisted security tools and SOAR platforms for automation.
- Ability to conduct purple team exercises and threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Familiarity with cloud security, Kubernetes, and Wiz CNAPP.
- Experience investigating account takeover and various forms of cyber-enabled fraud.
- Relevant security certifications such as GCIH, GCTI, AWS Security Specialty, or Security+ are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity investigations from initial detection through containment and remediation.
- Investigate incidents across cloud, endpoint, identity, SaaS, and network environments.
- Correlate telemetry from EDR, firewalls, identity providers, cloud platforms, and email security solutions.
- Develop executive summaries and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Automate security workflows and develop detection playbooks to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Fraud, Legal, and Product teams on incident management and risk mitigation.
- Conduct threat hunting and perform root cause analysis across security technologies.
