Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.
- Unrestricted, independent licensure.
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups.
- Experience treating patients in acute crisis in 24/7 settings.
- Ability to communicate with patients from various backgrounds and provide culturally competent care.
- Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously.
- Advanced technical proficiency in hardware and Windows-based software.
- Several years of experience in telehealth.
- Requirement to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in crisis simultaneously across multiple emergency rooms, medical floors, and psychiatric programs.
- Determine the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care for patients.
- Collaborate with 24/7 access center staff who triage cases and provide support.
- Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments.
- Prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner healthcare treatment teams.
