Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.
- Unrestricted, independent medical licensure.
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups.
- Experience treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings.
- Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously.
- Advanced technical proficiency with hardware (laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, and Microsoft software.
- Several years of professional experience in telehealth.
- Ability to work overnight shifts between 12:00am and 6:00am EST.
- Must maintain a private, confidential home office space.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs.
- Determine the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care for patients.
- Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication.
- Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner healthcare treatment teams.
- Work with a 24/7 access center that triages cases to support patient treatment.
