Requirements
- Doctoral degree in health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD) or significant oncology/industry experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of solid tumor cancer experience (GI, bladder, renal cell preferred).
- Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
- Proven ability to understand, analyze, and communicate complex scientific concepts and data.
- Demonstrated success in building credible relationships with prominent HCPs.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic document management systems.
- Must meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements for assigned territory.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain high impact territory plans and engagement strategies for HCPs and Investigators.
- Support clinical development initiatives including site identification, recruitment, investigator meetings, and generation of scientific data.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external experts in Immuno-Oncology within the assigned geography.
- Provide scientific education on disease states, the therapeutic landscape, and Summit Therapeutics products.
- Monitor and provide insights from relevant scientific meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and execute account plans supporting shared scientific or business objectives.
