Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) required.
- Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a field-based MSL team.
- Significant leadership experience in solid tumor oncology.
- Experience with pre-launch and launch product activities.
- Proven track record of building and optimizing field medical teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Executive presence and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a 7-member national MSL team to ensure compliant scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Conduct routine field visits and one-on-one meetings to provide observation, feedback, and career development guidance.
- Translate therapeutic area and Medical Affairs strategy into actionable regional field priorities and objectives.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and communication of Medical Insights to inform evidence generation and lifecycle planning.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and key account managers to align field activities with company goals.
- Ensure all MSL activities are ethical, compliant, and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
