Requirements
- Extensive experience in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
- Experience building Docker images and running associated CI jobs.
- Hands-on experience with scripting, system configuration, and installations.
- Proven experience in network security, including firewall configuration and security policies.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on documenting work and systems.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and tailor policies and processes.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and Atlassian tools.
- A 'keep it simple' engineering mindset and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support the management of existing development servers, including Linux and MacOS systems.
- Develop and implement scalable server, network, and storage strategies in collaboration with leadership.
- Install and manage industry-specific tooling and configure systems to manage jobs across computing clusters.
- Develop and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to address system bottlenecks.
- Support the management of network infrastructure and IT security across the company.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure environment.
- Procure new equipment and manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain certifications including Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
