Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in contract law, insurance law, risk management, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience in construction, engineering or design industries.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERM frameworks, governance models, and internal controls.
  • Strong proficiency in contract and insurance law and risk allocation principles.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and multi-state regulatory requirements.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
  • Up to 5% travel availability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the firm's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments across operational, financial, and regulatory functions.
  • Review and assess contractual risk for various client, vendor, and insurance agreements.
  • Manage corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims, and subcontractor compliance.
  • Provide executive leadership with forward-looking risk analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Participate in the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program.
