Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of combined experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI consulting.
- Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX authoring, and performance tuning.
- Experience with enterprise-scale dataset modeling and embedding/API scenarios.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and analytical query design.
- Expertise in designing analytics models such as star schemas and lakehouse patterns.
- Proven track record in a client-facing consulting role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern lakehouse architectures on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines and data transformation processes.
- Develop enterprise-grade semantic models and complex Power BI dashboards.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Apply version control and CI/CD standards to all engineering workflows.
- Partner with client teams to enable self-service analytics and platform adoption.
- Conduct research on emerging tools and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
