Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
- 3+ years of experience in React
- Proven track record operating at a Senior engineer level (or equivalent)
- Experience partnering directly with Product Managers
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills across the stack
- Strong communication skills, both async and in real time
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code)
Responsibilities
- Own timing, coordination, and follow-up for assigned projects and initiatives.
- Work self-sufficiently, with minimal oversight, while knowing when to ask for help.
- Partner directly with Product Managers on scoping, planning, and prioritization.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices.
- Deliver high-quality code at a consistent pace, with regular status communication.
- Contribute to and help improve team processes and procedures.
