Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Python.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure in enterprise or cloud-native environments.
- Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in using AI to improve software engineering productivity, code quality, automation, or development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java and Python.
- Build and evolve cloud-native microservices and REST APIs, applying sound software architecture and distributed-systems principles.
- Develop data-intensive solutions using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure services to build, deploy, and operate reliable cloud-based applications.
- Apply AI-first development practices to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and other engineering workflows.
- Identify repetitive engineering activities and implement automation to improve development efficiency and productivity.
- Take end-to-end ownership of services, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore engineering teams in a distributed environment.
