Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based, highly available, and scalable data platforms.
- Expertise in quality data pipeline design, development, and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience independently managing ambiguous project requirements and leading data initiatives.
- Healthcare domain experience (preferred).
- Experience with MLOps or machine learning infrastructure (bonus).
- Experience with data visualization tools like Sigma, Looker, or Tableau (bonus).
- Industry certifications such as Databricks, AWS, SnowPro, or dbt Analytics (bonus).
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (bonus).
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the discovery, evaluation, and integration of new datasets, collaborating on pipeline development and data modeling.
- Facilitate the technical management of data assets by tracking and maintaining context throughout the dataset lifecycle.
- Translate product and analytical vision into highly functional, secure, and reliable data pipelines.
- Set the standard for data engineering practices, architectural approaches, and pipeline designs within the company.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and data users to translate functional needs into data requirements and quality checks.
