Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with FedRAMP (Moderate/High levels) in continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Production experience with incident response and on-call rotations.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management (e.g., CNI, Istio).
- Expertise with multi-region deployments in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrable production Kubernetes experience (e.g., Managed Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, kOps).
- Competency with at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Go).
- Experience with cloud deployment and automation tools (e.g., GitOps, Terraform, Pulumi).
- AI fluency with AI-assisted workstreams and tooling.
- Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive security information.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure, with emphasis on security, reliability and quality.
- Evaluate current infrastructure and make recommendations for reliability, security, availability, scalability, and cost management.
- Implement site reliability tools, monitoring, early warning systems, and observability across cloud environments.
- Respond to infrastructure outages and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations including weekend shifts.
- Architect designs and manage engineering operations at scale.
- Contribute to code reviews and mature incident management/escalation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine priorities and manage vulnerability remediations.
