Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or a highly quantitative field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid foundational knowledge of US GAAP, operational month-end close structures, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities for manipulating massive, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience using AI and automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath, Gemini, or NotebookLM.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to solve ambiguous operational data problems.
- Flawless written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated Accounting partner to the Carrier Operations team, streamlining information flow and accelerating data integrity.
- Read, analyze, and document the financial and accounting implications of complex carrier agreements, including security deposits and volume-based pricing.
- Support the COGS Accounting team in preparing complex accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Own monthly P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses for carrier cost accounts, investigating billing anomalies and margins.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, maintain accounting policy documentation, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Identify process inefficiencies and build systematic solutions using AI tools.
