Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in data-focused roles at healthcare data companies, pharma/biotech data vendors, or health IT firms.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of data integrations built from scratch, including scoping, field mapping, QA, and handoff.
- Domain expertise in healthcare or life sciences.
- Analytical fluency and hands-on experience with tools such as VBA, R, or SPSS.
- Familiarity with data lake architectures, normalization, and entity resolution.
- Proven experience translating client-facing requirements into data or product specifications.
- Background working at a B2B data company with a focus on client consumption and retention.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (Athena, S3, Glue) at a query and inspection level.
- Experience working in Jira or Monday in a ticket-based workflow.
- Exceptional written communication skills for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured evaluation of new data sources including schema, coverage, and legal constraints.
- Own field mapping from source to bronze/silver/gold data layers.
- Partner with engineering to define ingestion requirements and entity resolution rules.
- Translate commercial requirements from client-facing teams into technical data specifications.
- Shepherd data sources through the full lifecycle: scoping, QA, entity matching, and product launch.
- Define acceptance criteria and lead validation for data quality, fill rates, and anomaly detection.
- Maintain high-quality documentation for mapping, assessments, and technical specifications.
