Requirements

  • Must independently qualify as a U.S. Person.
  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or ClickHouse Cloud, or related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, and distributed systems.
  • Previous technical experience in roles such as Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, SRE, Solutions Engineer, or Software/Systems Engineer.
  • Proven experience with the operational and compliance realities of federal IT environments (e.g., FedRAMP, DOD IL, AWS GovCloud, air-gapped/sovereign-cloud).
  • Strong communication skills and sound judgment regarding sensitive data handling.
  • Mindset of teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving under the rigor required by government customers.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical support contact for ClickHouse's U.S. federal and public-sector customers across various communication channels.
  • Develop and share technical solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and open-source via documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal runbooks.
  • Guide customers through deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting within government-authorized environments like AWS GovCloud.
  • Partner with internal teams including Support, Engineering, Security/Compliance, and Product Management to advocate for federal customer requirements.
  • Support technical aspects of federal Proof of Concepts (POCs), security questionnaires, and Authority to Operate (ATO)-adjacent evaluations.
