Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
- Deep understanding of concurrent programming and distributed systems.
- Experience building scalable backend systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to validate technical decisions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make trade-offs between performance and delivery speed.
- Collaborative leadership skills and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Cursor, Codex, Claude, or Open Code is preferred.
- Familiarity with NoSQL, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of highly visible, scalable features.
- Translate high-level business goals into clear technical specifications in collaboration with Product and Data partners.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and set code quality and review standards.
- Utilize AI tools for architectural planning, task decomposition, and monitoring.
- Define operational strategies for fault-tolerant architectures and system reliability.
- Identify and reduce legacy code complexity to improve team velocity.
