Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on SEO experience with a focus on local/multi-location search.
- Must be based in North America and able to work North American time zones.
- Deep knowledge of local ranking factors, citations, NAP consistency, and local link acquisition.
- Demonstrated understanding of AIEO, generative search, structured data, and topical authority.
- Strong command of technical SEO, including audits, crawlability, schema implementation, and site architecture.
- Experience managing SEO professionals or serving as a strategic lead for clients.
- Previous agency experience with multi-location brands, home services, or medical clients.
- Substantial experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Proficiency with local-specific tools like BrightLocal or Local Falcon.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Next.js frameworks and WordPress builders like Elementor or Divi is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the overarching Local SEO and AIEO strategy to improve performance in map packs and AI search experiences.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to the SEO team, reviewing deliverables and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and update agency SOPs for technical SEO, content architecture, and automated workflows.
- Manage and troubleshoot Google Business Profiles at scale including suspensions and reinstatements.
- Research and implement AI-powered tools to optimize research and content workflows.
- Define KPIs to connect organic visibility to client leads and revenue.
- Act as a strategic lead on key accounts and collaborate with Paid Search, Dev, and Content departments.
