Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 8+ years of analytics experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or similarly complex industries.
  • At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in incentive compensation.
  • Strong functional and technical expertise across incentive compensation design, analytics, operations, and commercial business practices.
  • Hands-on experience performing incentive compensation modeling, simulations, analytics, and insight generation.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for senior sales and business leaders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect incentive compensation strategies with sales performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within governance frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate across functions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic thought leadership across incentive compensation, including plan design, analytics, operations, communications, and project management.
  • Own incentive compensation activities for assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales leadership, headquarters leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive alignment and effective execution.
  • Design and evaluate incentive compensation plan options, clearly presenting alternatives, advantages, disadvantages, expected impacts, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop performance KPIs and health checks for incentive plans, evaluate plan effectiveness, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Independently conduct incentive compensation modeling, simulations, and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure incentive compensation activities adhere to established policies, governance processes, legal and compliance requirements.
