Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience working with high-voltage equipment, ideally involving circuit breakers or other critical substation components.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. sub-transmission applications, utility purchasing processes, and market dynamics.
  • Proven background in technical sales, product management, or business development within the power or energy sector.
  • Practical knowledge of vacuum interrupter technology and SF6-free solutions.
  • Familiarity with IEEE and ANSI standards applicable to high-voltage electrical products.
  • Strong technical communication skills for explaining complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities across utilities, EPCs, and OEMs.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities with utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and other strategic customers across the U.S. sub-transmission market.
  • Develop market penetration plans, support commercial growth initiatives, and help secure product homologation with key utility customers.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for sub-transmission products, leading technical discussions, product configuration, and pre-sales solution design.
  • Translate customer requirements into technically appropriate solutions aligned with utility needs.
  • Ensure alignment with relevant IEEE and ANSI requirements and participate in industry organizations.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships across the energy ecosystem.
  • Recommend product development and digital integration strategies, including the adoption of sustainable SF6-free technologies.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, engineering, and global teams to align priorities.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
