Requirements
- Expert proficiency with JavaScript (Node.js), JavaScript (React), PHP, relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), or NoSQL document stores
- Prior experience authoring technical documentation and requirements
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and ability to review AI-generated code
- Prior experience transitioning monolithic applications into distributed architecture
- Experience leading a group of engineers to successful completion of projects
- Experience with asynchronous programming
- Prior experience writing unit tests
- Expert working knowledge of software design patterns, standards, API interactions, and SDLC
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software
- Design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions
- Participate actively in meetings, code reviews, and refactoring efforts
- Mentor junior engineers to support a culture of growth
- Partner with leadership to ensure operational success
- Drive improvements to designs, processes, and products by reducing cost and improving efficiency
- Drive informed decision-making to achieve and maintain PCI and WCAG compliance
