Requirements
- Experience in revenue and billing audits (rent charges, lease discrepancies, waived fees, ancillary income).
- Experience in operational compliance reviews across leasing, maintenance, and procurement.
- Proficiency with Entrata or similar property management software.
- Experience with exception reporting, data validation, and system audits.
- Ability to develop reporting identifying trends and risk indicators.
- Minimum 30mbps wired internet connection.
- Hardware: i5 11th Gen or higher, 8GB RAM minimum, Windows 11 or MacOS Catalina or higher.
- Private and quiet dedicated home office area.
- Reliable back-ups for power and internet interruptions.
- Good quality headset and webcam.
Responsibilities
- Conduct operational audits of apartment communities and corporate support functions.
- Evaluate compliance with operating standards, policies, and procedures.
- Review leasing, resident file administration, move-in/move-out processes, rent collection, and maintenance operations.
- Identify operational, compliance, and reputational risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and executive summaries for leadership.
- Analyze root causes of audit findings and recurring operational issues.
- Monitor remediation activities and verify completion of action items.
