Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering and administration
- Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Advanced knowledge of networking
- Experience using various cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCloud, Digital Ocean)
- Proficiency debugging Unix-based OS and IP networking at a low level
- Experience with RHEL and Debian-based Linux distributions
- Experience debugging container-based workloads and runtime tooling (LXC/D, Docker, Podman)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Experience with Linux-based hypervisor systems (KVM, Xen/XCP-ng, Proxmox)
- Good scripting skills with Bash and Python
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Communicate and handle client requests
- Handle client system alerts
- Conduct client system patching and health checks
- Perform deployments via Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Onboard new clients and create roadmaps for improving their infrastructure
- Track time for all hours worked
