Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or a related field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Six (6) years of healthcare related experience preferred.
- Highly preferred experience in Charge Master, EAP, and coding.
- Preferred coding certification.
- Knowledge of healthcare coding and billing systems.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong analytical ability to develop options and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine data validation and audit the Chargemaster.
- Analyze charge capture data and perform revenue monitoring functions.
- Collaborate with outside vendors for maintenance and support.
- Lead code update initiatives.
- Ensure accurate charging, complete documentation, and efficient billing in compliance with government regulations.
- Resolve charge and coding issues while managing databases and reports.
