Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence and Oregon.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
  • Active DEA License.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
  • Ability to provide medication-assisted treatment for OUD or willingness to obtain training.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment.
  • Patient-first mindset.
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age spectrums.
  • Manage psychopharmacological treatment for all diagnosed psychiatric conditions.
  • Provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) using data waivered protocols.
  • Conduct supportive psychotherapy using motivational interviewing, trauma-informed approaches, and harm reduction models.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in care coordination between psychiatric, substance use, and medical services.
  • Support scheduled and walk-in patient sessions.
  • Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine appropriate levels of care.
  • Coordinate resources for patients including psychological testing, medical referrals, peer support, and housing assistance.
