Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence and Oregon.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Active DEA License.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
- Ability to provide medication-assisted treatment for OUD or willingness to obtain training.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment.
- Patient-first mindset.
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age spectrums.
- Manage psychopharmacological treatment for all diagnosed psychiatric conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) using data waivered protocols.
- Conduct supportive psychotherapy using motivational interviewing, trauma-informed approaches, and harm reduction models.
- Demonstrate proficiency in care coordination between psychiatric, substance use, and medical services.
- Support scheduled and walk-in patient sessions.
- Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine appropriate levels of care.
- Coordinate resources for patients including psychological testing, medical referrals, peer support, and housing assistance.
