Requirements
- 5+ years in systems administration, cloud operations, or infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years hands-on administering AWS in production (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking).
- 2+ years administering a Microsoft 365 tenant (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Conditional Access).
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure administration in a production environment.
- Demonstrated automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Working Terraform experience with modular design and state management.
- Strong understanding of IAM, encryption (KMS, TLS), and network segmentation.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL or Amazon Linux) and Windows Server in a cloud context.
- Experience working in Department of Defense environments and applying relevant security requirements.
- Disciplined documentation habits for runbooks, SOPs, and configurations.
- US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain AWS and Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
- Manage the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and identity governance.
- Design and maintain infrastructure using Terraform with a focus on modular, reusable designs.
- Automate operational workflows using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Apply hardening baselines (CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs) and support defense-sector compliance like NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
- Manage endpoint fleet through Intune and oversee AI platform administration (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Copilot).
- Partner with engineering and security teams to deliver scalable services and maintain audit-ready documentation.
