Requirements
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning and data science.
- 5+ years of advanced programming experience in Python and SQL.
- Extensive experience with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques, including deep learning.
- Expertise in time-series analysis and signal processing.
- Demonstrated experience in the full lifecycle of developing and commercializing ML models.
- Proven ability to operate independently, define roadmaps, and unblock project progress.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Domain knowledge in illness, infection, or immune response physiology is a plus.
- Experience with wearable health data is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and deployment of advanced machine learning pipelines and models for illness detection, focusing on time-series analysis.
- Drive the commercialization of algorithms as the primary science partner for cross-functional product teams.
- Design and execute rigorous statistical analyses for model performance evaluation and monitoring.
- Scope and conduct exploratory research to characterize novel health sensing features.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities from problem definition to shipped capability.
- Monitor and optimize production algorithms using large-scale member data.
- Present complex technical concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
