Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Consultant, or HR Manager.
- Strong understanding of complex federal and California state employment laws.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, and Rippling (required).
- Experience with Project Management tools (Asana preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- SHRM or HRCI Certification (preferred).
- Experience with HR systems like Gusto, Toast, Paycor, iSolve, or ADP Run (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Conduct HR evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Project manage change initiatives based on findings of HR, Safety, and Payroll assessments.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee benefits administration and payroll processing.
- Handle complex Leave of Absence (LOA) and accommodations.
- Conduct workplace investigations or guide clients through the process.
- Onboard and offboard employees within client systems (Rippling).
- Coach owners, managers, and employees on performance management and HR compliance.
